South Park Torches Pot Politics With ICE Raids, Ketamine, and ChatGPT at Tegridy Farms

Leave it to South Park to turn cannabis rescheduling, AI hype, and ketamine microdosing into one of the wildest half-hours on TV. In Season 27, Episode 3 (“Sickofancy”), Trey Parker and Matt Stone shut down Randy Marsh’s Tegridy Farms with a storyline that takes aim at immigration raids, tech-speak nonsense, and Trump’s demonic side hustle all while Towlie winds up as a gift for the president’s bathroom.

The episode opens with the DEA and ICE raiding Tegridy, leaving Randy moaning: “My marijuana business is failing again. The government took all my Mexicans.” Out of options, he turns to ChatGPT for guidance. The AI’s sultry voice tells him to rebrand as “Techridy,” a marijuana-meets-tech start-up that “transfers insights from the cannabis ecosystem into global action.” Towlie, confused, just asks: “Horse tranquilizer?” Cue Randy’s new obsession with ketamine sprays “microdoses” that he insists Silicon Valley bros use to get an edge.

High on his own supply and tech jargon, Randy beams into Washington, D.C. as a hologram, demanding Trump reclassify marijuana at the federal level. The gag goes predictably sideways. Trump ignores the policy pitch and demands a gift. The gift? Towlie. Next thing you know, the joint-smoking towel is locked in the White House bathroom while Trump cozies up to Satan himself.

It’s classic South Park equal parts satire and absurdity. In just 22 minutes, the show skewers cannabis politics, immigrant labor, Big Tech buzzwords, ketamine culture, and Trumpworld’s cartoonish corruption. By the end, Tegridy Farms is gone, Randy is babbling about AI-powered weed platforms, and Towlie is, well, very high in the wrong place.

For a series that once floated turning Tegridy Weed into a real-life brand, the episode is a send-off wrapped in biting parody. And if you thought cannabis rescheduling couldn’t get any stranger, South Park just raised the bar on ketamine.
